GreenGhana Alliance is a youth-powered movement creating real change for our environment. We believe that young people have the passion and energy to lead the fight against climate change. Through education, tree planting, cleanup campaigns, and digital action, we're building a greener, stronger future together. Whether you're in school, part of a club, or just want to make a difference, there's a place for you here.
At the heart of our campaign is the belief that young voices matter. We focus on raising awareness about what climate change is, what causes it, how it affects our environment, and what we can all do to create solutions. From planting trees and reducing plastic waste, to organizing school campaigns and cleanup drives, we're showing that small actions when multiplied can change the world.
Understanding Climate change
🌍 Climate change means long term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These changes are mostly caused by human activities like burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests. As a result, we're seeing more heatwaves, floods, and rising sea levels. But there's hope if we learn, act, and protect our planet, we can create a better future.
In Ghana and across Africa, many communities are already feeling the impact: farmers face droughts, floods destroy homes, and health risks are rising. But here's the truth we still have time to change the story. Fighting climate change isn't just for scientists or politicians. It is something we can all be part of.
